Record the song. Capture the performance. Create the content.
The music comes first. Behind it, the Woodshed has its own video production, with cameras built into every room. Add video to your session and the recording comes home as far more than a song.
Here's what you can leave with.
While you play, the audio is tracked, every room is filmed and recorded on its own, and a live cut can be made as it happens. One performance can become a whole library of content.
- AudioThe finished songMultitrack recording, mixed and ready to release.
- VideoA performance videoCut live between rooms, with your name on screen and the studio mix as the sound.
- VideoEvery room, recorded separatelyEach room saved as its own video file, so the take can be re-edited later.
- SocialShort clipsVertical cuts and highlights for Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts.
- StoryBehind the scenesThe setup, the takes that went sideways, the moment it came together.
- LiveA live streamYour session or a release show, live on YouTube.
- TalkInterviews and podcastsSit down on camera and talk about the record.
- PromoPromotional materialStills and footage for your press kit, site, and show posters.
Pick how much of your session you want on camera.
Every session starts at Level 1. From there, each level adds to the one before it.
Your video sounds like your record. Most session videos use whatever the camera's microphone picked up. Ours don't. Every mic in every room runs into the studio's music production system first, through the same gear that shapes your recording, and that finished mix is what goes on the video. What people hear on YouTube is the studio sound, not a room echo.

Level 1
Every session
See each other
The engineer sees every room at once. Ask to see anyone, and the engineer puts them on your room's screen, so the drummer can watch the singer through the wall.
-
Level 2
Add-on
Every room, recorded
A full video recording of each room, saved as its own file. Take them home and edit them however you want, now or years from now.
-
Level 3
Add-on
The live cut
We switch between rooms and angles as you play, like a TV broadcast, with your name and song titles on screen. You get one finished performance video.
-
Level 4
Add-on
Go live
The live cut, streamed as it happens. YouTube first, with Twitch and other platforms to follow.
-
Level 5
Coming later
The music video
A full edit built from every room and every angle, cut after the session into a finished music video.
More video work.
On location
Video production outside the studio: events, businesses, and projects.
Editing
Bring footage you already have and get it cut and finished.
Powered by StudioOS.
Behind the walls there are cameras, routers, computers, screens, and a lot of cable. In front of you there's none of that. The Woodshed is building StudioOS, its own control system, so the whole building works as one: the rooms, the cameras, the recording, the screens, and the lights.
The goal: less waiting while someone sets things up, and more time playing.
